My Approach

Occupational Therapy by Morgan Carpenter is specialized, individualized and holistic. I believe in the development of strong secure relationships that can respectfully handle conflict followed with a resolution. That children require compassion, patience, respect and validation to make progress, grow and develop. Mistakes, upsets and disruptions to our daily life are not negatives but instead are opportunities to repair and learn. I am passionate about family collaboration and supporting the understanding of their child's unique developmental profile.

I use standardized assessments, parent interviews and clinical observations to conduct my initial evaluation and guide my plan of care. I believe in evidence based research and treatment using the most current information on child development to guide my treatment.

I aim to support the wellbeing, health and quality of life of all the children and families that I work with.
